Kishore Kumar Gupta (Agarwal): Helping Small Traders and Community Groups Go Digital

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Kishore Kumar Gupta (Agarwal), an entrepreneur, IT professional and social worker based in Mumbai, is working to make digital tools easier for small traders and community organisations to use. Through InfoLive, the online business platform he founded, and through portals he has built for a community organisation and a sports committee, his work centres on one idea: technology should be practical and within reach of every business, however small.

From Khetri to Mumbai

Gupta’s family hails from Khetri in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. He was born in 1973 in Shahad, near Kalyan in Maharashtra, and completed his early education in Khetri. In 1993, he moved to Mumbai to begin his professional career, taking on significant family responsibilities at a young age.

He has been a volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since childhood and has stayed active in social and community work alongside his career.

InfoLive: A Digital Identity for Local Businesses

Since 2017, Gupta has focused on building websites, business portals, mobile applications and custom software. InfoLive brings that experience together in one platform. It connects traders, businesses, service providers and customers, and gives small and medium-sized businesses the tools to build a presence online.

Businesses and professionals can create a free listing, which becomes an SEO-optimised public profile that customers can find by city, category or pincode. From a profile, a customer can call, send a WhatsApp message or submit an enquiry. InfoLive also offers digital marketing campaigns, lead generation and customer follow-up services for businesses that want to grow further.

As of October 2026, the platform lists around 750 public profiles, including 606 business listings. It is available on the web and as an Android app. InfoLive is operated by a Udyam-registered MSME based in Thane district, Maharashtra.

Technology for Community Organisations

Gupta’s technical work extends to the organisations he serves. In 2021, he took on the role of National IT Cell In-Charge of the Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Mahasabha, where he supports the organisation’s communication and digital outreach. According to Gupta, the organisation connects approximately 137,000 members of the Agarwal community across India.

InfoLive has also built Agarwal Projects, a community platform that includes a matrimonial portal, a job portal, skill development listings, a business directory and member registration, along with its own mobile app.

He is a Life Member of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), which represents the interests of traders across the country. His interests within the trading community include digital empowerment, technology adoption and modern business solutions.

A Portal for a Sports Community

Gupta also developed the web portal and Android app for the Anushaktinagar Sports Management Committee (ASMC), which runs sports facilities and programmes for the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) community at Anushaktinagar in Mumbai. Members can use it to register or renew their membership, enrol in coaching programmes, book facilities such as badminton courts and the gym, and receive notices and event updates. According to Gupta, the portal serves approximately 5,000 active members.

Vision and Mission

Gupta believes technology can act as a strong catalyst for both social progress and business growth. His aim is to bridge the digital divide for small traders and businesses by giving them access to online platforms, marketing tools, customer management systems, and technology-driven growth opportunities.

Through InfoLive, his community roles and his work with traders, he continues to pursue a simple goal: to create meaningful opportunities for businesses and to strengthen the connection between technology and society.
