Ufa, Russia / New Delhi, India:
An official delegation, upon the Invitation received from Ministry of Foreign economic relations and congress activities, Russia constituted, where significant meetings are being held with senior officials from various ministries and institutions to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Among the delegates, Mr. Anuj — a National Awardee honoured by the President of India and a resident of Ghuman Hera, Delhi — played a key role. During the visit, Mr. Anuj held extensive discussions with Russian government officials on youth exchange initiatives, university-level collaboration, trade and investment opportunities, and enhancing cultural and economic engagement between India and Russia.
He informed the Prime Minister of Republic of Bashkortistan, Russia and Ufa state
institutions have expressed substantial interest in expanding cooperation with India in the fields of youth development, education, sports, and business.
This visit comes at an important juncture, following the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit held at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin. The summit marked a renewed vision to expand bilateral relations beyond the existing military and defence partnership towards a broader, multi-dimensional cooperation framework.
The delegation also included Mr. Rakesh Bagga (Vice President, BJP Punjab), Mr. Nikhil Changwani, Mr. Prakash Chandra Bhati, Mr. Ladu Lal Jat, Mr. Kuldeep Singh, and Mr. Sunny Malik. All members actively participated in various sessions and discussions throughout the visit.
This official visit, aimed at strengthening India–Russia relations, marks an important step towards accelerating bilateral cooperation and deepening strategic engagement between the two nations.
